Commercial supply: We supply conventional non-organic and certified organic eating garlic of certain commercial lines in bulk quantitities in season. These unnamed garlic varieties are grown and sold without provenance to the wholesale and retail trade in Victoria, Australian States and Overseas.

We also supply non-organic and organic bulk quantities to manufacturers, growers, mail-order houses and buying groups. Bulk orders of commercial garlic lines are despatched in 10 kg onion sacks or 10 kg boxes. Band sizes: Commercial garlic sales are in band sizes and come in quality Grades A and B for table garlic and Grade C for commercial processing quality garlic.

GARLIC GRADES:

GARLIC GRADES A AND B ARE MATURE, CLEAN, BRIGHT BULBS, FIRM AND COMPACT, CLOVES ARE FILLED OUT AND FAIRLY PLUMP. NO STAINING. GRADE DEFECTS WITHIN TOLERANCE. THEY ARE WELL CURED AND DRY WITHOUT DAMPNESS. LESS THAN 2% SHATTERED BULBS AND NO DECAY

GARLIC GRADE C  ARE STILL GENERALLY COMPACT, WITH CLOVES FILLED AND PLUMP. IN MOST CASES THE GARLIC IS WELL DRIED AND CURED. SOME BULBS MAY BE MATERIALLY STAINED WITH GREY OR YELLOWISH DISCOLOURATION AND MAY CONTAIN SOME SHATTERED BULBS. 5% MAY SHOW SPROUTS.
